Introduction

The College of Animal Science and Technology is one of the earliest components of Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA). In 1956, BUA launched the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine program under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, which was renamed the Department of Animal Science and Technology in 1999 and the College of Animal Science and Technology in 2010.

Livestock and poultry health breeding research center

The center of livestock and poultry health breeding research of Beijing Agricultural University and the sub center of Biochip Beijing National Engineering Research Center is an important research base for veterinary science and key disciplines in Beijing. It is also a scientific research platform for transforming modern biotechnology into clinical veterinary testing, diagnosis and other social and economic fields.
