Dr. Qian Zhang is an associate professor and master’s supervisor specializing in the molecular mechanisms and clinical applications of active components of traditional Chinese medicine against animal viral diseases, as well as molecular mechanisms of acupuncture efficacy and enhancement technologies. She teaches Zoology, Animal Anatomy and Histology-Embryology, and Regional Anatomy. She serves as a council member of the Beijing Anatomical Society and the North China Research Association of Traditional Veterinary Medicine. She has led multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and the Youth Fund of Beijing University of Agriculture, and has participated in key national R&D programs and the “12th Five-Year Plan” science and technology support projects.

Molecular mechanisms and clinical applications of active components of traditional Chinese medicine against animal viral diseases.
Molecular mechanisms of acupuncture efficacy and the development of enhancement technologies.
