Ⅰ. Personal Information
Deqi Yin, Lecturer, Licensed Veterinarian.
Secretary of the Undergraduate Party Branch of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant to the Director of the Social Service Office (seconded), Director of the Pet Professional Committee of the Zhongguancun Chinese Veterinary Medicine Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (Beijing), and Science and Technology Commissioner of Qinghai Province(2026).
Received his Ph.D. from Shenyang Agricultural University in 2022, and joined the College of Animal Science and Technology/College of Veterinary Medicine, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) in December 2022.
Ⅱ. Research Interests
Molecular parasitology research and teaching, focusing on parasitic disease prevention and control, vaccine candidate molecule development, pathogenic molecular biology, and wildlife rescue.
Ⅲ. Research Projects
He has presided over and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Science and Technology Program of Xizang Autonomous Region. The key projects are as follows:
1. Establishment of Rapid Diagnosis Methods and Construction & Application Demonstration of Prevention and Control Technology System for Echinococcosis in Xizang, Science and Technology Program of Xizang Autonomous Region (Base and Talent Program), 2026 (Principal Investigator).
2. Capital Science and Technology Innovation Voucher Project, 2025 (Principal Investigator).
3. Protein Modification and Mechanism During the Intraerythrocytic Development and Reproduction of Plasmodium falciparum, Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 82030060), 2021–2025 (Participant).
4. Monitoring and Early Warning of Key Wildlife Epidemics and Emerging Viral Diseases, Key R&D and Transformation Project of Xizang Autonomous Region, 2026 (Participant).
5. R&D and Application of Brucella Rapid Detection Kit Based on RPA-CRISPR/Cas12b Technology, Science and Technology Cooperation Project of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 2026 (Participant).
Ⅳ. Major Achievements
He has published more than 20 academic papers in domestic and international journals and obtained 1 authorized invention patent.
