IV. Major Achievements
For the first time internationally, revealed the evolutionary conservation and species specificity of epigenetic information reprogramming, such as enhancers in mammalian embryos, and established comprehensive databases for reproduction and breeding (*Sci Adv*, 2021; *NCB*, 2024).
Established a database for epigenomic regulation patterns in early mammalian embryos, and discovered the conservation of offspring chromatin regulation patterns alongside species specificity in pigs, cattle, and humans (*Nature*, 2018; *NCB*, 2022).
Revealed the endometrial developmental mechanisms during early embryo implantation in dairy cows, exploring targeted diagnostic and intervention strategies for pregnancy diseases.
Elucidated the mechanisms of DNA damage and repair during oocyte maturation in cattle and pigs, facilitating solutions to problems such as embryonic arrest in livestock reproduction.
