Zhen Wang, Ph.D, Professor, master supervisor.
Selected as Beijing High-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Support Program Young Top-notch Talent and Beijing Municipal University High-level Teacher Team Construction Support Program Young Top-notch Talent Training Program.
II. Research interests
Animal disease prevention and control technologies; bacterial pathogenesis and antimicrobial resistance mechanisms.
III. Research Projects and honors
She has led a number of projects, among which the most important are:
1. General Project of Beijing Natural Science Foundation–Molecular mechanism of tirapazamine regulating Escherichia coli biofilm formation via AI-2/LsrR signaling (Principal Investigator, 2025-2027).
2. Beijing Excellent Talents Training Program–Study on the role of Salmonella enteritidis transporter YejABEF in resisting host antimicrobial peptide killing (Principal Investigator, 2019-2021).
3. Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China–Identification of multidrug resistance regulatory genes in Escherichia coli and their molecular mechanisms (Principal Investigator, 2015-2017).
IV. Major Achievements
She has published more than 40 research papers (18 SCI papers) as first or corresponding author, with a single paper achieving an impact factor of 10.08, and has been granted 4 national invention patents.
