I. Personal information
Xihui Sheng, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Beijing Nova Program Awardee. Principal Investigator (PI) in Animal Genetics, Breeding and Reproduction, the College of Animal Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA).
Prof. Sheng is a Council Member of the Animal Genetics and Breeding Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAV), an Executive Council Member of the Beijing Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, and an Expert Member of the Beijing Biological Seed Industry Innovation Consortium.

Genetic mechanism and breeding technology research on important economic traits of Chinese indigenous poultry breeds (e.g., Beijing-You Chicken, Pekin Duck).
