The library of Beijing University of Agriculture was established in 2011 with 16,000 square meters and more than 2,000 reading room seats.The library of Beijing University of Agriculture started automation construction in 1993. In June 2000, the library passed the evaluation of automation network construction of Beijing university and college libraries organized by Beijing Municipal Education Commission. In December 2000, the library website of Beijing University of Agriculture (www.study.org.cn) was officially released to the public. In 2008, it became the first university library in Beijing that has applied RFID technology to library management.
