Xu Yang，Associate Professor, Chair of the Department of Food Science and Engineering at the International College, Beijing University of Agriculture, and Program Director of the Cooperative Education Program between Beijing University of Agriculture and Harper Adams University (UK).Since joining the faculty, she has served as the Program Director and has taught over ten specialized undergraduate courses, including Research Methods, Retail Consumers, Retail Environments, Fundamentals of Food Properties, Retail Environment and Operations, Food Marketing, and Formulation and Ingredients.

Her primary research interestsinclude food science and food supply chain management.

In the field of scientific research,she has led provincial/ministerial-level research projects, published over ten papers as first author in domestic and international journals, authored two monographs, and contributed as a co-editor to several other publications.
