Xia Mengjing,Ph.D., Lecturer, Chair of the Department of Environmental Science and Management at the International College, Beijing University of Agriculture, and Course Coordinator for the Sino-Australian Program.He graduated from the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2012. From 2009 to 2011, he studied at the State University of New York, USA. He conducted postdoctoral research at the College of Environmental Sciences, Peking University, from 2012 to 2015.
His primary research interests include environmental microbial diversity and function, teaching management of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, and bilingual teaching. He has taught numerous specialized courses, including Basic Biochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Applied Microbiology, Agricultural Resource Utilization and Management, and Biological and Chemical Hazards.
He has led multiple research and teaching reform projects, published over 20 papers, been granted two national invention patents, and contributed as a co-author to one monograph and one textbook.
