I. Personal information

Zhen Peng, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in Ornamental Horticulture at the College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA). He also serves as a Young Editorial Member of Ornamental Plant Research.

II. Research interests

His research focuses on the molecular physiology and chemical regulation of groundcover plants, primarily using Liriope and Carex as model species. Major research topics include multi-omics analysis and functional gene mining in Liriope spicata, investigating the molecular physiology and chemical regulation of groundcovers under stress, as well as the innovation and application of native groundcover plant germplasm resources.
