I. Personal information
Yanfen Lu, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Member of the Communist Party of China, Master’s Supervisor.Born in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province.Received Ph.D. in Pomology from China Agricultural University.Worked as Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Tsinghua University.Currently a teacher at College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture.
II. Research interests
Innovation and utilization of fruit tree germplasm resources.
III. Research Projects
Presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of Beijing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, 1 Funding Project for Excellent Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, and 1 China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project.
IV. Major Achievements
Published more than 30 SCI research papers, and obtained 3 national invention patents.Won 1 First Prize of Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award, 3 First Prizes of Science and Technology Award of China Chamber of Commerce, 1 Third Prize of Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Second Prize of Beijing Agricultural Extension Award, and 1 Third Prize of Beijing Agricultural Technology Extension Award.Developed 6 varieties approved by Beijing Tree Species Approval Committee.Participated in compiling Tourism Horticulture, a planning textbook for the 12th Five-Year Plan of general higher education.
