I. Personal information

Xiaoxiao Qin, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Member of the Communist Party of China.Studied for master’s and doctoral degrees at Southwest University from September 2011 to July 2016, and obtained Ph.D. degree.Postdoctoral research at China Agricultural University and Beijing Beinong Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. from October 2016 to October 2018.Joined College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture in October 2018.

II. Research interests

Germplasm resources innovation and utilization of horticultural plants, biological control in orchard.

III. Major Achievements

Selected in the 2023-2024 Youth Talent Support Program of Beijing Association for Science and Technology.Won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of China Chamber of Commerce in 2018, 2020 and 2021, and the first prize of Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award in 2021.Participated in authorizing 12 patents, breeding 4 new apple varieties and formulating 1 local standard of Beijing.
