Jinghong Hao, female, born in Shandong Province in 1980, Postdoctoral, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor.Beijing Science and Technology Nova.Director of Protected Horticulture Branch, Chinese Horticultural Society; Director of Horticulture Branch, China Agricultural Plastic Application Technology Association.Received Ph.D. in Protected Horticulture from Shenyang Agricultural University in 2009.Postdoctoral research at Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from 2009 to 2011.Worked in Department of Horticulture, College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture since July 2011.
II. Research interests
Vegetable physiology and molecular breeding, with focus on melon fruit development, quality breeding and stress-resistant cultivation of leaf lettuce.
III. Research Projects
Presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 Key Projects (Type B) of Beijing Natural Science Foundation, 1 Beijing Science and Technology Nova Project, and provincial and ministerial projects of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
IV. Major Achievements
Achieved certain results in mechanism of high temperature bolting in leaf lettuce, melon fruit development and quality breeding.Published more than 50 papers, including more than 20 SCI papers.Authorized more than 20 national patents, including 4 national invention patents.Participated in compiling 2 textbooks and monographs.Won 3 Beijing Agricultural Technology Extension Awards and 1 Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award as main participant.
