To meet the needs of modern urban agriculture, the team is engaged in mining key functional genes from rich resources such as microorganisms, plants and animals, identifying their regulatory mechanisms, and conducting genetic improvement studies. Research areas include the mining and functional regulation of key genes for fruit and flower quality; molecular directed evolutionary breeding of yeast; mining and genetic improvement of functional genes, such as drought and low-temperature resistance; and mining of functional genes related to pest resistance and their applications.
