China Scholarship Council recently unveiled the list of programs approved to be financed by the 2025 Program of Promoting China’s Cooperation with Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus on Talent Cultivation, and BUA’s “Foreign-Related Agricultural Rule of Law Talent Cultivation Program” was on the list.
Built on the cooperation between BUA and Kutafin Moscow State Law University, the “Foreign-Related Agricultural Rule of Law Talent Cultivation Program” aims to train top-notch interdisciplinary and innovation-oriented talents who have a global vision, specialize in agricultural rule of law, are equipped with expertise in both law and agriculture, and serve the building of foreign-related agricultural rule of law in Beijing and even the whole country. The Program will run for three years (2025-2027). In each year, BUA will send two graduating undergraduate students to Kutafin Moscow State Law University for the master’s degree and one visiting scholar to Kutafin Moscow State Law University for exchanges. China Scholarship Council will provide scholarship for the specified period of overseas study and cover expenses for one round trip. For master’s degree candidates, tuition fees will also be funded, with the funding standards and methods subject to relevant national regulations.
The approval of the Program marks another major achievement of BUA’s efforts to deepen international exchanges and cooperation and build platforms for international talent cultivation. It serves as a new channel of government-subsidized overseas study for both teachers and students at BUA, and is of great significance to enriching the contents of international cooperation in all aspects, improving the quality of talent cultivation, and accelerating the progress of BUA's international education programs. Going forward, BUA will stay committed to the goal of building itself into a domestically first-class and internationally renowned high-level applied university with urban agriculture and forestry characteristics. Leveraging the program, it will integrate quality resources across the University, strengthen cooperation with the Russian side, and optimize the path of talent cultivation, so as to train more excellent talents to serve the building of Beijing towards ”Four Centers" (the national political center, cultural center, center for international exchanges and center for technological innovation), and facilitate international exchanges in the agricultural field.
