The team mainly works on the development and application of biological resources, the use of biotechnological means to address ecological and environmental problems in the development of urban agriculture, and the realization of high-value utilization of biomass resources. Research areas include development of bioactive substances, exploitation of specialized small berries, and reuse of agricultural waste to conserve resources and protect the environment. In the area of speciality agriculture, the team has combined the construction of the "Berry Science and Technology Backyard" and the Special Program on Media with the actual problems of farmers and rural areas, and contributed to the development of agriculture and rural areas in Beijing.
