Jiang Nan,Ph.D., Associate Professor.Currently serves as the Program Director of the Sino-Australian Cooperative Education Program at Beijing University of Agriculture and as Associate Dean of the International College. He graduated from the School of Water Resources and Environment at China University of Geosciences (Beijing) in 2008, and studied at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, from 2006 to 2007. He previously worked at the Environmental Protection Institute of the China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology as a Senior Engineer, where he was responsible for developing water pollution control project plans and conducting research and development on environmental protection process equipment. He has led one Beijing Municipal International Cooperation Project, one project funded by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and several university-level teaching reform projects. He has also participated in more than ten projects, including the National "863" Program and projects commissioned by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He contributed to the drafting of the national environmental protection technical standard document (HJ576-2010). He has received two provincial/ministerial-level science and technology awards and holds two national invention patents. He has published over 20 research papers.

Core Courses Taught:Managing the Environment, Research Methods, Environmental Management Practice, Environmental Management and Sustainability, and Comprehensive Experiments in Resources and Environment (undergraduate core courses).

Research Interests:In the field of teaching reform, his research focuses on the teaching management system of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, comparative studies on the standards of undergraduate education between China and other countries, bilingual teaching methods, curriculum system development, and teaching quality control. In the field of scientific research, his main research interests include water pollution control technologies and ecological restoration of contaminated sites.
