Cheng Li,Ph.D. in Food Management, Professor, and Visiting Scholar at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Cornell University, USA (2017–2018).Currently serves as a faculty member in the Food Science and Engineering program of the Sino-British Joint Program at the International College.

She is primarily engaged in teaching and scientific research. She teaches undergraduate courses including Introduction to Food Nutrition, Food Business and Consumer Insights, and Food Product Development. Her main research interests include dietary behavior, the relationship between food nutrition and health, and quality and safety management across the food supply chain.

She has published over 20 papers in academic journals such asFood Control,British Food Journal, andFood Science. She has led research and teaching projects including a project funded by the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Municipal Program for Strengthening Teaching through Young and Middle-Aged Backbone Talents, research projects of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and a project of the Beijing Higher Education Society. In addition, she has authored two monographs published by China Agriculture Press.
