I. Personal information
Weiwei Zhang, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor, Member of the Communist Party of China. Born in Jincheng, Shanxi Province.Worked at Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from 2016 to 2023.Joined Department of Horticulture, College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture in August 2023.
II. Research interests
Resource collection and evaluation, domestication and breeding, cultivation physiology, metabolic regulation, purification of active substances of edible and medicinal fungi.
III. Research Projects
Presided over 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of Beijing Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, and 1 horizontal project.Participated in more than 10 projects including National Key R&D Program, local science and technology plan projects, university-level scientific research projects and horizontal projects.
IV. Major Achievements
Achieved certain results in purification of functional substances of edible and medicinal fungi and lignocellulose degradation.Published more than 40 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI papers (14 as first author).Obtained 8 national invention patents.
