Jie Zhang, Ph.D., Professor, Member of the Communist Party of China, Master’s Supervisor. Born in Shanxi. Beijing Great Wall Scholar.Graduated from China Agricultural University. Worked at College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture since July 2009.
II. Research interests
Cultivation physiology of fruit trees.
III. Research Projects
Presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of National Key R&D Program, 2 projects of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.
IV. Major Achievements
Achieved certain results in green and efficient cultivation of apple and peach. Formulated a set of technical regulations for dwarfing and efficient cultivation of apple with early fruiting, high yield and labor saving, which has been popularized and demonstrated in suburban districts and counties of Beijing, effectively reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and improving the level of safe production of fruits. Published more than 20 papers and obtained 4 national invention patents.
