 I. Personal information

Yuerong Gao, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor. Born in Xiangyang, Hubei Province.Received B.S. in Bioengineering from Wuhan University of Bioengineering in 2010.Received M.S. in Germplasm Resources from Hainan University in 2013.Received Ph.D. in Ornamental Horticulture from China Agricultural University in 2017.Postdoctoral research at Beijing University of Agriculture from 2017 to 2020.Joined College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture in 2020.

II. Research interests

Regulation of ornamental quality in rose, rose breeding, analysis of drought resistance mechanism in Liriope spicata.

III. Research Projects

Presided over 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education Scientific Research Plan, and 1 horizontal project.

IV. Major Achievements

Has many years of research experience in quality regulation and regeneration technology of horticultural crops.Published more than 7 papers as first author or corresponding author, including more than 5 SCI papers.Obtained 2 national invention patents.
