Zhang Zhiyong

Zhang Zhiyong, Ph.D., Professor, Graduate Supervisor at Beijing University of Agriculture.He completed his doctoral studies at Northwest A&F University in 1996. From 2000 to 2002, he conducted postdoctoral research at Nagoya University in Japan, where he additionally served as a Foreign Special Researcher of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He previously worked at Luoyang Agricultural College (now Henan University of Science and Technology) and the Institute of Plant Protection, Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, holding positions including Associate Professor and Research Professor. In 1997, he was selected as a Provincial Cross-Century Academic and Technical Leader. In 2004, he was awarded the State Council Special Allowance. He has long been engaged in higher education and scientific research in plant protection-related fields. He has led the completion of two international cooperative projects, multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and several provincial/ministerial-level research projects. He led the drafting of the provincial local standard for pollution-free production (DB41/T152.1-5-2000). He has received three provincial/ministerial-level science and technology achievement awards and holds four national invention patents. He has published over 150 academic papers both domestically and internationally, and has authored or edited more than 10 academic books.
