I. Personal information

Xiao Hongbo, female, born in 1977 in Dengzhou, Henan Province, Doctor of Management of Institute of Agricultural Economics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (graduated in 2010), postdoc of Institute of Regional Division, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (graduated in 2013), master tutor, and currently Associate Professor of Department of Agricultural Economics, Chinese Academy of Economic Management. He is also the director of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Technical Economics, the deputy secretary-general of the director of the China Forestry, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Economic Professional Association, the director of the non-Party Intellectuals Association of Beijing University of Agriculture, and the director of the China Green Packaging Association.

Since joining, she have taught courses such as "Agricultural Supply Chain Management", "Agricultural Technical Economics", "Rural Professional Cooperation Organization", "International Trade of Agricultural Products", "Economic Theory and Practice of Agriculture and Forestry Industry".

II. Research interests

Her main research fields are animal husbandry economy, grain economy, quantity economy, urban modern agriculture, agricultural economic policy, etc.

III. Research Projects

Presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the key research and Development Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Soft science of the Ministry of Agriculture - Rural Collective Economic Development in 2018 and 2019, the general scientific research project of Beijing, the integrated development of the Agricultural processing industry and the one, two and three industries of the Ministry of Agriculture, the status quo of rural energy application of the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the cooperation of local governments, and other projects; It mainly participated in more than 10 projects such as food safety of livestock products, poverty alleviation industry planning, urban ecological agriculture planning, leisure agriculture planning, beautiful countryside planning, and fixed-point monitoring of pig scale farms of the Ministry of Agriculture.

IV. Major Achievements

Published two monographs,one is of the Growth and Fluctuation of Pig Production in China ,the anther is of Research on the development of new rural collective economy and the reform of property rights system in China, and participated in the editing of 6 books. More than 50 articles were published, including "The puzzle of the missing meat: Food away from home and China's meat statistics ", "The Evolution of Hog Production in China and Potential Sources for The two papers of "Future Growth" were published in the Journal of Integrative Agriculture and the SCI & SSCI journals of Food policy respectively. In addition, he has published more than 10 papers in domestic CSSCI and core journals such as "Chinese Agricultural Science", "Agricultural Economic Problems", "Agricultural Technical Economics", "World Agriculture".
