I. Personal information

Han Liu, Ph.D., Lecturer, Member of the Communist Party of China. Born in Tianmen, Hubei Province.Graduated from the College of Agriculture, China Agricultural University in 2016 with a Ph.D. in Agriculture.Postdoctoral research at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2019 to 2022.Worked at the College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture since August 2022.

II. Research interests

Silage maize breeding, molecular mechanism of heterosis.

III. Major Achievements

First implemented the ChIA-PET three-dimensional genomics method in plants, revealing long-range chromatin interactions mediated by H3K4me3 and H3K27ac in the maize genome.

Developed genotyping methods for gene exon region enrichment widely applicable to different plant species.
