Huiyu Wang, Ph.D., Lecturer, Master’s Supervisor, Member of the Communist Party of China.Born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province.Received Ph.D. in Agriculture from Nanjing Agricultural University in June 2023.Joined Department of Horticulture, College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture in August 2023.

Presided over 1 Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 Open Project of Provincial and Ministerial Scientific Research Platform of Beijing University of Agriculture, 1 Youth Faculty Research Innovation Promotion Project of Beijing University of Agriculture, 1 Postgraduate Research and Practice Innovation Program of Jiangsu Province.Participated in General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Agricultural Science and Technology Independent Innovation Fund Project as main completer.
IV. Major Achievements
Using leafy vegetables (lettuce, Chinese cabbage, etc.) as materials, explored regulatory genes related to bolting tolerance, high stress resistance, excellent phenotypes and high functional components, and analyzed the formation mechanism to provide theoretical support for genetic improvement of leafy vegetables.Published several SCI papers as first author in Horticulture Research, Horticultural Plant Journal, Plant and Cell Physiology.Obtained 1 national invention patent.Won the 13th Dabeinong Young Scientific and Technological Innovation Award in 2025, the first prize of the 19th Youth Academic Speech Competition of Beijing Vegetable Society in 2023, and National Scholarship for Ph.D. Students in 2022.
