Qingqin Cao, Professor, College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture.Ph.D. in Pomology, Huazhong Agricultural University, 2003.Joined Beijing University of Agriculture in July 2003.Visited Wageningen University (the Netherlands) in 2008 and State University of New York (the USA) in 2015 for one year respectively as a visiting scholar.
Pioneer of Teaching and Educating in Beijing, Great Wall Scholar of Beijing, Beijing Young Famous Teaching Teacher, Beijing Science and Technology Nova.Executive Director of Women Scientists Branch, Chinese Horticultural Society; Director of Beijing Pomological Society.
II. Research interests
Interaction between fruit trees and rhizosphere microorganisms.
III. Research Projects
Undertaken more than 20 national and provincial/ministerial projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-project of National Key R&D Program, Key Project of Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
IV. Major Achievements
Published more than 100 academic papers, including over 20 SCI papers in high-level journals such as New Phytologist.Authorized 18 invention patents; 4 provincial/ministerial new varieties and 1 national certified variety approved.Won 4 provincial/ministerial awards including the Second Prize of Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award (ranked 2nd).
