I. Personal information

Liusheng Duan, Ph.D, Professor, doctoral supervisor, Member of the Communist Party of China.

He was selected into the National Ten-Thousand Talents Program (Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation for Middle-aged and Young People), Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation for Middle-aged and Young People of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Outstanding Talent in Agricultural Scientific Research of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Shennong Leading Talent of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

Member of the National Pesticide Registration Review Committee, Executive Director of China Pesticide Development and Application Association, Executive Director of Chinese Association of Agricultural Universities.

II. Research interests

Creation and agricultural & forestry application of biological regulators.

III. Major Achievements

He has won 1 Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award, 3 Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 2 First Prizes at provincial and ministerial levels. As the first inventor, he has been granted 43 authorized national invention patents. He has published 162 academic papers as the first or corresponding author, including 75 SCI-indexed papers, and edited 3 books.

He was selected into the National University Huang Danian Style Teacher Team and the High-level Teaching Innovation Team of the Beijing Municipal University Teacher Team Construction Support Program.
