Qing Zhang, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Senior Engineer, Master’s Supervisor. Born in Heze, Shandong Province.Graduated from China Agricultural University, majoring in Pomology.Teacher at College of Plant Science and Technology, Beijing University of Agriculture.
II. Research interests
Innovation and utilization of Chinese chestnut germplasm resources and regulation of stress physiology.
III. Research Projects
Presided over 6 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects including General Program of Beijing Natural Science Foundation, projects of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, Beijing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, and Innovation Voucher Project of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and 1 High-level Innovation Team Project of Hebei Province.Participated in 6 national scientific research projects.
IV. Major Achievements
Published more than 30 papers, including 11 papers as first author and corresponding author, 3 SCI papers.Participated in compiling 1 experimental textbook and 1 popular science book.Obtained 1 national invention patent and 1 utility model patent.Participated in breeding new chestnut variety Jingshuhong and new fig variety Masui Dauphine.Won 2 Beijing Agricultural Technology Extension Awards and 1 Beijing Natural Science Award.Established more than 10 experimental technical systems.
