Team characteristics and strengths:

1.Team composition: International, high-level, multi-direction integration.This team is mainly composed of law teachers. Most of the team members have studied abroad, are proficient in multiple languages, and also have the double first-class university education background in the discipline directions of international law, intellectual property law, civil law, criminal law, procedural law, environmental law, etc.

2.Priority research directions: Foreign-related rule of law and agricultural intellectual property rights.With the fundamental goal of "rural revitalization", the team focuses on agricultural and foreign-related research directions, such as foreign-related rule of law, agricultural intellectual property rights, agricultural law, rural governance, and environmental law, actively cross-connects with agricultural disciplines, and vigorously expands international cooperation partners.

3.Teaching practices: Integration of theory and practice and focusing on future development.The team vigorously expands the teaching practice base, establishes cooperative relations with judicial organs, government organs, law firms, and patent institutions in Beijing City and across the country, actively participates in Beijing and national student competitions, and look into students' future study and employment needs.

4.International cooperation: Cooperative relationships with foreign high-level universities.The team has vigorously expanded international cooperation partners and has established official partnerships with universitiessuch asKutafin Moscow State Law University to jointly carry out scientific research and talent cultivation.

Research areas with cooperation intentions:

1.Cooperation intention has been reached with Professor Oleg Grin from Kutafin Moscow State Law University in the field of agricultural intellectual property rights.

Experience of international cooperation and exchange:

In 2022, Feng Chong, a member of the team, went to Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia for a visiting scholar program funded by China Scholarship Council. He has established cooperative relationships with several international law scholars of this university and several scholars of economic law, environmental law, and genetic law of Kutafin Moscow State Law University, and assisted Beijing University of Agriculture to establish official cooperation relationships with Kutafin Moscow State Law University. He has published several academic papers in the journals of this university, and some undergraduate students went to the university to study for a master's degree in law. The regular exchange programs have been implemented betweenBeijing University of Agriculture and Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

In 2004, Tong Zhanjun, a team member, went to Harper Adams University for study in the UK. In 2006, he visited the University of Minnesota, the United States, for research discussion and exchanges with the university teachers.

From September 2015 to February 2016, Song Guilan, a member of the team, visited the School of Business Law of Northumbria University in the UK for research discussion and exchange with law teachers, and she has maintained continuous academic exchanges with them.

From September 2001 to April 2003, Wang Chunguang, a member of the team, went to the School of Business and Law of Victoria University in Australia as a visiting scholar for research discussions and exchange with law teachers.

From August 2018 to October 2019, Tong Guangfa, a member of the team, studied the Temple-Tsinghua Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program. From August 2017 to March 2018, he studied at the UC Berkeley School of Law as a visiting scholar. From December 2009 to December 2010, he studied at the University of Minnesota Law School as a visiting scholar for research discussions and exchange with law teachers.
