I. Personal information
Xiaobing Liu, Ph.D. in Management, Professor, graduate Supervisor.
Responsible Person of the No.061 Science and Technology Courtyard under the United Front Work Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee. Holds a master's degree from Harper Adams University in the UK and a doctorate in Agro-forestry Economics and Management from Beijing Forestry University.
Prof. Liu is the Deputy Secretary-General of the Roof Greening and Energy-saving Professional Committee of the China Building Energy Conservation Association, one of the members of the Technical Economics Committee of the Chinese Forestry Economics Society, and a member of the Forestry Economics Professional Committee of the China Society for Technical Economics.
II. Research interests
Forestry Economics; Agro-forestry Resources and Environmental Economics; Urban Modern Agriculture; Forestry and Creative Agriculture.
III. Research Projects
She has successively presided over more than 20 research projects, including key projects of the Beijing Social Science Foundation, projects of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and projects of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, among which the most important are:
1. Key Project of the Research Base of Beijing Social Science Foundation: Research on the Performance of Afforestation Projects in the Northern Mountainous Areas of Beijing (18JDGLA047-2018-2021).
2. Project on Analysis of the Input Structure and Performance Output of Beijing's Forestry Funds, a research project commissioned by Beijing Cost and Performance Management Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd (2024-2025).
3. Research on the Operational Mechanisms and Social Benefits of New - type Forestry Business Entities, a Cooperative Research Project of Beijing Forestry University (2015-2017).
4. Innovation-Driven Development Project: Research and Development of Green and Low-carbon Soil Improvement Substrate Series Products, sponsored by the China Building Energy Conservation Association (CXQDFZ-2024-XJSYF-03-2024-2026).
5. “Undergraduate Teaching Reform and Innovation Project” of Higher Education in Beijing: Research and Innovation on the Training System of Agricultural and Forestry Talents in Economics and Management of Urban Agricultural and Forestry Universities under the OBE Concept, sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission (2019-2021).

IV. Major Achievements
She published over 60 papers in journals such as Journal of Agrotechnical Economics, Forestry Economics, and Issues of Forestry Economics and published more than 10 monographs and textbooks, and has received over 10 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, among which the most important are:

1. The Second prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in the 14th Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Award in 2024 (3/9).
2. The Second Prize of Shennong Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Award in 2017 (6/15).
3. The First Prize of the National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest Award in 2016 (4/25).
4. The First Prize of Beijing Agricultural Technology Promotion Award in 2016 (3/10).
5. The Second Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award in 2016 (5/10).
6. Instructor for the team winning the First Prize in the "Challenge Cup" Extracurricular Works Competition for Capital University Students in 2023 (1/1).
7. The Best Instructor for the First Prize in the National Finals of the Brand Planning Competition of the National College Business Elite Challenge in 2023(1/2).
8. The Best Instructor for the team achieving the First Prize in the National Finals of the Brand Planning Competition of the National College Business Elite Challenge in 2024 (1/2).
