I. Personal information

Zhao Haiyan, Ph.D, a member of the Communist Party of China, an Excellent Teacher in Beijing, Famous Teacher in Higher Education Institutions in Beijing, a third level professor in the School of Economics and Management at Beijing University of Agriculture, and a master's and doctoral supervisor. Currently serving as a Secretary of the CPC Branch of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry Economic Management, a specially appointed expert in the Beijing Urban Agriculture Expert Team, a member of the Youth Expert Think Tank of the Farmers' Daily, a trustee of the China Agricultural Risk Management Research Society, and a trustee of Beijing Association of Agricultural Economics. Postdoctoral fellow in Management at Kyoto University in Japan by China Scholarship Council and awarded the title of National Outstanding International Student.

II. Research interests

Regional Rural Revitalization Strategy, Industrial Economy, Urban-Rural Integrated Development, New Agricultural Management Entities and Returning to Hometown to Start a Business.

III. Research Projects

She has presided and participated in over 40 national and provincial level research projects , among which the most important are:

1.Research on Development Strategy of Rural Revitalization in Anhui Province, the key consulting research project of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

2.Research on Development Strategy of Rural Revitalization in Jiangsu Province, the major consulting research project of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

3.Investigation and Economic Analysis of Land Use Decision making for Vegetable Planting, the key research project of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of PRC.

4.Research on the Cultivation of New Agricultural Business Entities in Beijing, the key project of Beijing Municipal Education Commission.

5.Research on Monitoring and Evaluation of Agricultural Socialized Service System and Returning to Hometown to Start a Business, the key research project of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

6.Research on Monitoring and Evaluation of Modern Agricultural Industrial Parks in Beijing, the key research project of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

7.Research on the Mode and Path of the Integration of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Industries in Beijing Rural Areas, the key research project of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

8.Research on the Development of Rural Industrial Integration in Beijing, the key research project of Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform.

IV. Major Achievements

She published over 40 papers in core journals both domestically and internationally; Published 8 monographs, 2 popular science books, 6 textbooks, get 11 results adoption, and won 17 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level; Mainly teaches postgraduate courses such as "Theory and Practice of Agricultural Development" and undergraduate courses such as "Food Marketing" and "Writing in Agriculture and Forestry Economics".

1.Won the Award of The Famous Teacher in Higher Education Institutions in Beijing in 2024.

2.Won the Third Prize in the Course Ideological and Political Education Senior Group of Beijing Higher Education Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition in 2023.

3.Won the Award Title of Beijing Outstanding Teacher in 2022.

4.Won the Second Prize of Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award in 2022.

5.Won the award of a High-Quality Undergraduate Course in Beijing Universities in 2022.

6.Won the Third Prize in the Senior Group of Beijing Higher Education Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition in 2022.
