I. Personal information

Liu Fang, Second-tier Professor, PhD in Management, Doctoral Advisor at the College of Economics and Management. She is the Member of the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, Beijing Great Wall Scholar, "March 8th" Red Flag Bearer of Changping District, Top Class Professional Leader of Beijing, Leader of Beijing Excellent Education Team, Leader of Beijing Excellent Key Course, Director of Beijing New Rural Construction Research Base, Expert in Industrial Economics of Beijing Livestock Innovation Team of Modern Agricultural Industry Technology System. She serves as a secretary of the Party Committee of Economics and Management, the President of the Beijing Agricultural College Branch of the Capital Women Professors Association and the Vice Chairman of the Pig Industry Branch of the China Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Economics Society, and standing director of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Economics and the Beijing Agricultural Economics Association.

II. Teaching courses:

Undergraduate courses such as Econometrics, Statistics, and Application of Economic Statistics Software. Postgraduate courses such as Intermediate Econometrics and Rural Statistics and Surveys. Editor in chief of three textbooks, including "Rural Statistics and Survey (Beijing Excellent Textbook)".

III. Research interests

Main research areas are agricultural product markets and trade, and animal husbandry economics. She hosted 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China general projects, 1 National Social Science Foundation general project, and more than 20 provincial and ministerial level projects, and published over 10 monographs or textbooks and over 100 papers. She won 2 second prizes for outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences in Beijing, excellent development achievements award from the Ministry of Commerce of China, third prize for scientific and technological progress in Beijing, second prize for educational and teaching achievements in Beijing, and more than 20 awards from various levels such as the National Education Commission.

(1) The study on the impact of foreign livestock and poultry genetic resources on the development of China's animal husbandry was awarded the Second Prize in Management at the 14th Philosophy and Social Sciences Excellent Achievement Award of Beijing Municipal People's Government in August 2017, First Prize.

(2) The research on the fluctuation and regulation mechanism of pig prices in China won the second prize of the 13th Philosophy and Social Sciences Excellent Achievement Award in Management Studies by the Beijing Municipal People's Government in December 2014, Second Prize.
