To further advance the BUA Global Strategic Partnership Program and enhance BUA's international profile and educational influence, a delegation led by Wu Yan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Vice President of BUA, recently visited Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Kasetsart University, and Edith Cowan University at the invitation of the respective institutions in Thailand and Australia, engaging in inter-university exchanges and cooperation.

During visits to RMUTT and Kasetsart University, the delegation held in-depth discussions on areas of shared interest, including smart agriculture, horticultural cultivation, and agricultural big data. The two sides explored various forms of collaboration, including joint scientific research, student exchange and joint education programs, internship and practical training opportunities, as well as agricultural technology training and extension activities. The delegation also toured relevant faculties, laboratories, and practical training facilities, reaching a range of agreements on deepening pragmatic cooperation.

The delegation also visited Edith Cowan University, a long-standing partner institution of BUA, and successfully completed the fourth renewal of the cooperation agreement. The two universities have maintained a collaborative partnership for 14 years, and the renewed agreement will further strengthen comprehensive cooperation in curriculum development, faculty and student exchanges, and joint research initiatives. During the visit, the delegation toured laboratories, teaching centers, and other campus facilities, and met with BUA students studying at Edith Cowan University, gaining a detailed understanding of their academic progress and daily life while extending BUA's care and support.

Building on the outcomes of this visit, BUA will continue to deepen agricultural and forestry education cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, actively promote the establishment of joint laboratories and specialized innovation centers, and steadily expand faculty and student exchanges, collaborative curriculum development, and academic engagement. Through high-level internationalization, BUA aims to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of its development and contribute to the building of a first-class application-oriented university with distinctive urban agriculture and forestry characteristics and an international reputation.

Representatives from relevant colleges and administrative departments accompanied the delegation during the visit.
