Since its establishment in 2003, the College of International Education, BUA, has stayed committed to conducting international cooperation in the field of higher education, and strived to explore and utilize foreign high-quality educational resources. Under the context of increasingly globalized economy, the College closely follows the development of higher education in the world and advocates cross-cultural education, successfully providing a higher education environment and platform for international talent cultivation. At present, it has established various forms of cooperation with universities in the UK, Australia, the US, and other countries. Approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and national competent authorities, the College of International Education, BUA, is currently carrying out the "3+1" Sino-foreign cooperative education program with two foreign universities in three majors.
In 2003, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) and Harper Adams University (HAU) launched an undergraduate cooperation education program on two majors: International Economics and Trade (International Business Management) and Food Science and Engineering (Food Quality and Resale Management). This program adopts the teaching and quality assurance system of HAU, in which courses are taught in English. Students are required to study at BUA for the first three years and at HAU for the final year. Those who complete their courses in this major will be awarded the graduation certificate and certificate of bachelor's degree from BUA, and the certificate of bachelor's degree from HAU. As of the end of 2022, the program has cultivated a total of 1,057 graduates in 16 sessions. Among them, 792 fresh graduates pursue master's degrees, with a fresh graduate enrollment rate of 74.8%.
In June 2012, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) and Edith Cowan University (ECU) launched an undergraduate cooperation education program in the specialty of Agricultural Resources and Environment (Environmental Management). This program implements a "3+1" education model that students study at BUA for the first three years and at ECU for the final year. Students who complete their courses in this major will be awarded the graduation certificate and certificate of bachelor's degree from BUA and the certificate of bachelor's degree from ECU. As of the end of 2022, the program has cultivated a total of 203 graduates in 6 sessions, of which 152 fresh students pursue master's degrees, with a fresh graduate enrollment rate of 75%.
After years of cooperative education with foreign universities, the College of International Education, BUA, has formed educational characteristics that the education concept, education mode, teaching system and content, teaching management, and teaching staff are fully in line with international standards. It has also built a domestic teaching team composed of full-time and part-time Chinese and foreign teachers with foreign educational backgrounds, who are proficient in English teaching and familiar with foreign teaching models and subject development. BUA-HAU Undergraduate Program
Approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council in 2003, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) and Harper Adams University (HAU) started an undergraduate cooperation education program in two majors: International Economics and Trade (International Business Management) and Food Science and Engineering (Food Quality and Resale Management). Students are required to study at BUA for the first three years and at HAU for the final year. Those who complete their courses in this major will be awarded the graduation certificate and certificate of bachelor's degree from BUA, and the certificate of bachelor's degree from HAU. After enrollment, students must achieve the required IELTS English level through one year of intensive English training. During the process of major studying, they are required to complete various assignments and reports with a cumulative total of 60,000 words, a 10,000-word paper, as well as written and oral examinations for all courses in English. Introduction to Harper Adams University
Founded in 1901, Harper Adams University has been long committed to agriculture and agricultural products and food-related fields, and is widely recognized for its high-quality education. In December 2012, its name was changed from Harper Adams University College to Harper Adams University and then it became the first and largest agricultural university in the UK. HAU ranks among the best in British universities in terms of teaching quality, graduate employment rate and student satisfaction. In addition, HAU has also received praise for its support of international students. In the evaluation of the Sino-British higher education cooperation program by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), the undergraduate cooperative education program between HAU and BUA was highly praised.

The major is a cooperative education program between BUA and HAU approved by the Ministry of Education. The length of study is four years, with students studying at BUA for the first three years and at HAU for the final year. Those who complete their courses in this major will be awarded a bachelor’s degree in economics from BUA and a bachelor's degree in science from HAU.

BUA-ECU Undergraduate Program
In June 2012, Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) and Edith Cowan University (ECU) started cooperation on an undergraduate program (Approval No.: MOE11AU2A20121204N) majoring in "Agricultural Resources and Environment (Environmental Management)" with approval from Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the Ministry of Education. This program adopts a "3+1" education model that students study at BUA for the first three years and at ECU during the final year. It covers the core specialized courses of both BUA and ECU and introduces the teaching system and quality assurance system of ECU. All relevant courses are taught and assessed in English. Students who complete their studies in this major will get diplomas from the cooperative universities (a graduation certificate and a certificate of bachelor's degree from BUA; and a certificate of bachelor's degree from ECU). After enrollment, one-year intensive English training will be given to students to help them reach the IELTS 5.0 level or equivalent. Juniors must reach the IELTS (academic) 6.0 level (with the score of each part not less than 6.0) or meet other English language proficiency requirements issued by ECU before studying abroad at ECU.
Agricultural Resources and Environment (Environmental Management) (undergraduate program)
This major is a cooperative program between BUA and ECU. It covers the core specialized courses of BUA and ECU and introduces the teaching and quality assurance systems of ECU. All relevant courses are taught and assessed in English. It adopts a "3+1" education model that students study at BUA for the first three years and at ECU during the final year. Students who complete their studies will get a graduation certificate and a certificate of bachelor's degree in Agriculture from BUA and a certificate of bachelor's degree in Science from ECU. This program features an internationally advanced education system and management model introduced from ECU, an international education environment, a focus on cultivating students' global knowledge and capacities, and talent cultivation in line with international standards.
