During May 26-30, a team headed by Zheng Pinshi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of BUA, paid visits to Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and UCSI University at their invitation, to conduct inter-university exchanges.

During the visits, BUA's team introduced to the universities BUA's information, educational characteristics, as well as achievements made over the last years in terms of discipline building, talent cultivation and scientific research, and moves taken to promote international cooperation and exchanges. Meanwhile, the team gained a deep understanding of Malaysian universities’ practices and experiences in training students, and had in-depth discussions with the heads of relevant universities and institutes on international cooperative educational programs, research projects, talent cultivation, and teacher and student exchanges. As a result, a series of consensuses were reached, and the forms and contents for future cooperation were made clear, offering a strong support for BUA to refine its teaching system, further internationalize scientific research, and advance the high-quality development of the university.

During the visits, to learn about the infrastructure conditions of the three universities, the team visited the farm, soil resources research institute and animal feed analysis laboratory affiliated to the Faculty of Agriculture of Universiti Putra Malaysia, the experiment center and sports venues of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, and the students affairs center and Institute of Creative Art and Design of UCSI University. They also had exchanges with relevant heads concerning university-enterprise collaboration, asset management, teaching, and student management, among other issues.

Yang Baodong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Bioscience and Resource Environment, Li Jinping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Landscape Architecture, and Professor Sun Xi from the College of Humanities and Urban-Rural Development also joined the visits.
