On October 12, the Working Committee of China Overseas Talent Pioneer Park Alliance under China Association of Technology Entrepreneurship(CATE)released theNotice on Confirming the 5^thBatch of Selected Incubation Bases of China Overseas Talent Pioneer Park Alliance (ZLC [2023] No.10), which puts BUA's National University Science Park on the list.

Recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology andtheMinistry of Education as a national university science park in 2021, BUA's National University Science Park targets the development needs of"urban modern agriculture and forestry", focuses on"comprehensive agriculture"and"comprehensive health", and integrates agriculture and engineering disciplines. Byimprovingcapabilities in"services"and"incubation"and building six major serviceplatforms(i.e.,hardware facilities, commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, innovation and entrepreneurship services, R&D and experiment services, public services for businesses, and scientific and technological financial services), it has constantly improved the ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship and achieved fruitful results in incubation.Currently, 105 enterprises have settled in the park,including over 40 high-tech enterprises. The National University Science Park hasalsowon manyhonorary titles in succession, such as"Postdoctoral Research Station","Zhongguancun University Technology Transfer Office","Beijing University and Research Institute Patent Operation Office","State-level Agricultural and Rural Maker Space","Beijing Maker Space","College Students Pioneer Park University Branch","National Rural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation and Training Base", and"Beijing Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Base".

According to reports,the incubation bases of China Overseas Talent Pioneer Park Alliance are importantinnovation andentrepreneurship platforms for talents who return or come to China from overseas. By introducing overseas talents, promoting international technological transfer and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, fostering high-tech, high-growth,and high-value innovation-oriented enterprises,and facilitating the building of regional innovation systems and the development of industrial economy, they serve ascarriers forscientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship that provide physical spaces, shared facilities,and professional, integrated,and deep-level services, as well as major spaces for the innovation and entrepreneurship by overseas talents and the industrialization of scientific and technological achievementsregionally. In the next step, following the requirementofcomprehensivelystrengthening the ability to serve and contribute to thesocietyraisedby BUA's 4^thParty Congress, the University Science Park will further improve the ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship, boost the capability in gathering talents, and refine entrepreneurship services, with the aim to build a"BUA model"for business incubation, create a newregionalplatform for the innovation and entrepreneurship by overseas talents and the transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and play avitalrole in demonstrationand promotion.
