Recently, the 9th "Eagle Cup" Small Animal Veterinarian Skills Contest was held at Henan Agricultural University. Thousands of students and more than 100 clinical veterinarians from more than 130 universities and colleges across the country participated in the contest. The team from the College of Animal Science and Technology of BUA stood out among the participating teams from agricultural and forestry universities across the country and won the first prize in the group competition.
It is reported that the "Eagle Cup" Small Animal Veterinarian Skills Contest is the first comprehensive veterinary clinical skills contest in China for college students majoring in animal medicine and clinical pet physicians across the country. It has now become a comprehensive veterinary talent training platform that promotes the healthy development of the domestic small animal medical industry, stimulates the learning and research enthusiasm of the veterinary practitioners, and helps students majoring in animal medicine to master pet medical knowledge and skills.
In this contest, the team composed of Yu Chang, Yuan Junhao, Hou Tianxin and Wang Yuchen, students from the College of Animal Science and Technology, BUA, completed the theoretical and practical competitions with a steady mindset and superb skills under the careful guidance of four teachers, Yao Hua, Wu Qiong, Chang Di and Zhang Hua. They fully demonstrated their solid professional foundation and outstanding practical ability, and finally won the first prize in the contest.
