To implement the guiding principles of the 4^th BUA Party Congress, steadily advance BUA's Global Strategic Partnership Program, and enhance the quality of international educational programs, at the invitation of relevant universities in Spain, a BUA team led by its Party Committee Secretary Zhao Feng visited the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the University of Zaragoza from September 1 to 5, 2025.

BUA's team introduced to the Spanish universities its characteristics in education, achievements in discipline building and international development strategy. Both sides had in-depth discussions on short-term exchange visits for teachers and students, collaboration on scientific research projects, and joint building of laboratories, and reached a series of consensuses on constructing regular cooperation platforms and sharing resources.

As part of the trip, the team paid visits to the laboratories, practice bases, and other teaching and scientific research platforms of the universities. BUA signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Zaragoza, paving the way for both to conduct in-depth cooperation in multiple disciplinary fields.

This trip further strengthened the cooperation between BUA and Spanish universities, and established a new platform for international exchanges. BUA will take this opportunity to speed up collaboration in various aspects, continuously enrich the connotation of international education programs, and inject a new impetus to the building of a domestically first-class and internationally renowned high-level applied university with urban agriculture and forestry characteristics.

Huo Chunyan, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Zhao Hanqing, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Qi Xiaolong, Deputy Dean of the Graduate School, joined the visit.
