The Ministry of Education recently announced the results of the 3rd batch of recognized national first-class undergraduate courses. BUA’s six courses, namely Protected Horticulture, Fermentation Engineering, Horticultural Professional Skills Training, Veterinary Public Health, Crop Entomology, and Rural Statistics and Survey, were put on the list, covering three categories of first-class blended online-offline courses, first-class offline courses, and first-class social practice courses. This marks a new breakthrough for BUA.

Building national first-class undergraduate courses is a core step taken by the Ministry of Education to deepen the undergraduate education and teaching reform and improve the quality of talent cultivation, with the focus on developing quality courses that are advanced, innovative and challenging. With strong characteristics of agricultural and forestry disciplines, BUA’s six courses on the list closely align with the needs arising from China’s development of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers and implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, and highlight innovations in terms of contents, teaching modes, and practice system.
