At 9am July 12, the closing ceremony of the BUA 2013 student military training was ceremoniously held in Yanqing Kangzhuang No. 611 Student Military Training Base. Wang Defeng, the deputy executive secretary of Beijing National Defense Education Association, BUA President Wang Huimin, Deputy Party Secretary Gao Dong, Zhang Tieqiang, the secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of BUA and the secretary of the Party General Branch of College of Plant Science and Technology, Han Baoping, the director of Armed Forces Department and Student Affairs Department and Deputy Director Liu Liu, Zhang Yu, the deputy director of Politics Department of CPLA Troop 66370 and Vice Chief of Staff Wei Chengxi, Guo Guang, the commander of BUA military training regime, Duan Qiming, Beijing Kangzhuang No. 611 Military Training Base, leaders of tier-2 colleges, and vice presidents in charge of student affairs were present at this closing ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Wang Yuzhu, the deputy commander of the military training regime. 

With determining march, President Wang Huimin reviewed the military trainees in the company of Guo Guang, the commander of the military training regime.

In the subsequent march-past and military training result show, the students handed in a satisfying answer sheet by their high spirits and perfect performance. They performed individual soldier queue action, detachment queue action, team attack and wound handling, military boxing, and enemy seizing skill by waistband. Particularly, the salute show of the first company in the shapes of “八一” and “BUA” won thunderous applauses. The women’s waistband enemy seizing skill showed the heroic bearing of the women’s company. The orderly team and deafening slogans showed the special demeanor of the students of BUA. 

Military Training Regime Commander Guo Guang summarized this military training. He praised BUA students’ spirit of fearing no hardship, being brave in fighting and striving to make progress. He hoped the students could show theses spirits and styles in future study and life, be willing to bear hardships, try to make progress, develop themselves in an all-round way, including morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor, cultivate themselves into the people useful to the society, make better contribution to the country and provide better service for the society. He pointed out the training troop and BUA have established deep friendship and the long-term cooperation between the two sides will be getting closer and deeper. 

Han Baoping, the political commissar of the military training regime and the director of Student Affairs Department read the decision on commendation of excellent students in the military training. 16 trainers, 9 organizing teachers and 358 trainees were commended. 

At the ceremony, BUA Deputy Party Secretary Gao Dong sent silk banners to Kangzhuang 611 Military Training Base and the training troop and expressed heartfelt thanks to them for their efforts to all military trainees in the 14 days. 

President Wang Huimin made an important speech and conveyed heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the military training base and all organizing teachers. 

She put forth three hopes on all the students attending the military training: hope the students consider the realization of China Dream as their goal, integrate personal development into the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation; hope the students combine the tenacity and fortitude of soldiers and the enthusiasm and wisdom of the youth and strive to realize BUA Dream and personal dreams; and hope the students inherit and carry forward the spiritual character, ideological style and indomitable will power formed during the military training and turn them into forces of learning, life, growth and development. She stressed the training knacks of being strict, normative, meticulous and preserving on the military training ground are also magic weapons for working hard, acquiring knowledge and making achievements. She hoped the students affect and prompt the people around them with the fine tradition and habits formed during the military training, play a pioneer and model role and achieve excellent results in future study.
