September 10 is the teacher’s appreciation day in China. Beijing University of Agriculture held an assembly to honor its teachers. The first part of the assembly is to honor teachers and staffs that served for 30 years. Then the school recognizes teachers that had received awards during the year of 2008-2009. The last part of the assembly was a speech by the Chairman of the University Council,prof. Wang Hui-min.
Ma Xiaoyan, a professor from the department of landscaping which won the award Beijing outstanding teaching team speak at the assembly.
Chairman of the University Council ,prof.Wang Hui-min recognized the progresses that have been made so far. Then she gave a detail plan on how to improve the school on teaching and research. She finished the speech by encourage the teachers and staff to work hard and make the school better.
