WenkeRuan, joined the Department of animal Science of BeijingUniversity of agriculturein 2003 and is anassociate professor of prevent veterinary. Hereceived a Ph.Dof prevent veterinaryfrom department of animal medicine, China Agriculture University.He is supervisor of postgraduate.

His research fields mainly include animal microbiology and immunology. Current research interests focus on the interaction mechanism between the innate immune response to pathogen molecular and anti-infection immune mechanism of avian.His currentresearch has been supported by grants from Beijing Nature Science Foundation, scientific research project of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, scientific research quality improvement project of Beijing University of Agriculture. He taught courses including animal immunology, animal microbiology, animal biological products, avian disease et al. He received the project supported by the Beijing excellent talent.
